Ultrasonic Cavitation is a simple and effective procedure that relies on sound waves to flush fat from the body. A technician will target specific body areas by guiding the handheld ultrasonic device emitting low-frequency sound waves. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin's surface. The pressure eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the lymphatic and urinary systems.
The body requires three days to properly eliminate the fat and toxins after a treatment. At least three days must pass between each session.
An Ultrasonic Cavitation treatment will often yield immediate results which you can feel, touch and see and it can be long lasting. Some clients can experience between 1/2 inch to 2 inches of circumference reduction after a single session with increasing results after subsequent visits.
What To Expect:
Similar to an ultrasound, a technician will apply gel to the handheld device and gently glide it over the targeted area. You may hear some slight ringing in your ear during the treatment.
Ultrasonic Cavitation in Scientific Terms:
Around 40 KHz to 5 MHz of sound wave is used in the treatment. This powerful sound wave essentially passes through the body and forces the fat cells to collapse, turning them to liquid. The sound wave can be specifically applied to areas of the body so that the subcutaneous fat cells are destroyed by a number of microscopic implosions. When the fat cell is destroyed it becomes a liquid combination of free fatty acids and glycerol, the former of which are moved to the liver where they simply decay, and the latter of which is transported into the circulatory system where it can be used as energy.
